I love making fun cards for friends so on National Friendship Day I’m pulling out a cute stamp set and sharing card design ideas with you.

You may not know this about me, but I was born and raised in Wisconsin, so I really got a chuckle when I saw this stamp set! How stinkin’ cute are these badgers. I will have to do a University of Wisconsin card sometime soon too!

These Paper Cards Are My Go-To for Quick and Easy Card Making

Using a piece of scrapbook paper is a great way to make paper cards in minutes. It’s a craft idea that makes a great gift too. It. all starts with a 12 X 12 piece of DSP.

Sometimes it’s so hard to cut up that pretty paper, but why keep it? Use it to make some beautiful cards to send to people to brighten their day.

For these paper cards I used designer paper that is double sided and used one side as the frame and the other as the focal point.

The highlight of these paper cards is the designer paper. Stampin’ Up! has some of the prettiest papers on the market. We are using the ‘Hand-Panned’ DSP with a fun frame card layout. What I love about this card design is you get to show both sides of the coordinating paper!

The flowers are made with the Pierced Blooms dies, which are a part of a bundle with a stamp set, but I did not use the stamp set on today’s cards–just the die cuts today. I used the ‘Happy Thoughts’ stamp set for my stamped greetings.

This is ONE big stamp and ONE big die. You stamp all the greetings out at one time. You can stamp several, cut them out, and then have just ready to go anytime you need a card.

Today I am also sharing an easy card layout using note cards and envelopes, and a piece of Designer Series Paper. This is a great way to use up that stash of paper you have!

How about just covering a bunch of the notecards, then cutting out several sets of the greetings and have them ready to go as you need them. It would also make a great gift for someone. Include a package of dimensionals and they can add a greeting as they need a card.
