Catalog Sample Recipes

Do you love to look through the Stampin’ Up! catalog for card making inspiration?? I do and many of my card ideas start from a card I see in the catalog. But often, it is hard to see exactly what supplies and colors they used. HELP IS HERE! Download the card sample recipes for the current catalogs below…. You can save to your computer, or even print them out if you want!

Stampin’ Up! Color Charts

One of my absolute favorite things about Stampin’ Up! products is the color coordination. Putting colors together that look fantastic is easy with their products. Card stocks match the inks! Ribbons & embellishments coordinate! Everything either matches or coordinates.

Below you will find a couple of charts that you can download and print out to use as a reference when you are creating. I use these all the time!

4 Color Groups + In Colors

Stampin’ Up! has 4 different core color groups: Neutrals, Regals, Brights & Subtles. Each group consists of 10 colors.

Each year they also introduce 5 new colors called “In Colors.” These tend to be trendy and fun! They are always my favorites. These colors stick around for 2 years and then they are gone.

Designer Series Paper Coordinating Colors

I absolutely LOVE Designer Series Paper, or as we call it – DSP! Every catalog is filled with new papers, featuring fun, trendy and traditional patterns and colors.

The color coordination of Stampin’ Up! products really shows in these papers. This chart makes it easy to know what colors are in each of the papers and help you select colors of ink and card stock to use.

These color combinations are also great to just use to combine Stampin’ Up! colors for a new color palette!

I have one of these printed and keep it right on my stamping desk and reference it often!
