I love card making techniques that are easy. Using stencils for card making to blend a background color is so cool. Honestly, I have had these stencils for a long time and never touched them. I finally decided to play and oh my goodness, what easy wonderful backgrounds you can make!

Why have I not tried these stencils for card making before??

It was so easy to use a Blending Brush and add some ink. You could cover the whole card layer, but I really liked the look of it partially stenciled and then fading away.

Here’s A Quick Way To Make Monochromatic Masculine Cards

I was able to make 2 monochromatic masculine cards with the new ‘Reflected in Nature’ stamp set. This stamp is amazing. Well, the whole stamp set is great, but the cabin image is incredible! Look at all that detail in one stamp.

You can cut pieces out of different colored cardstock and then layer die cuts for either a masculine or feminine card.
