The cards shown here use the retired Happy Thoughts stamp set; I know many of you have this stamp set so I did not feel too bad using it. This was the stamp set I had the honor of designing, but unfortunately it retired in June. Never fear…. these fall cards are really designed so that you can use any greetings that you have. These simple card designs are inspired by the Best Ice Cream Corner suite of products. DIY cards with me and have some fun (calorie free)! Everyone loves ice cream and today that’s what our cards are all about. Great for making birthday cards for people of all ages.

We are using the super fun Designer Series Paper (DSP) called ‘Ice Cream Corner’. This paper just makes me want to run out and get an ice cream cone–even in the middle of winter!

Along with the paper, we are using the coordinating stamp set called ‘SWEET ICE CREAM’. But it just gets yummier and yummier….it’s also my monthly blog hop. That means you will get even more ideas with this designer paper when you hop along and view the projects my friends made.

So, What IS the best craft punch? The Tailored Tag Punch by Stampin’ Up! Ok, so that is just one of my favorite punches but for these simple cards it’s perfect.

The ‘Peony Garden Designer Series Paper’ (DSP) is the paper I chose. You can see how easy it would be to mix and match papers. I’d love to hear your thoughts– do you think this is the best craft punch for these simple cards? Would you use some other paper punch?
