Vellum Tips You Need To Know For Card Making

I’ve got some vellum tips you need to know for card making. Have you ever used Vellum on your cards?  Whether it’s printed vellum, or plain, it can add that magical touch.  But, there is ONE PROBLEM–how do you adhere it?

That is the question I will answer in today’s video!  There is nothing worse than seeing the adhesive through the vellum.  So today, we are going to use vellum to create elegant cards and I’ll show you these tips you need to know when working with vellum!

Check out this gorgeous printed vellum.  It is from the FLORAL ROMANCE SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER that you can find on page 11 of the 2019 Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalog.  This picture does not do it justice….make sure to watch the video for a better look at it.

Use Vellum to Create Elegant Cards

Nothing screams elegance like vellum.  In my cards today I added it to the front and for the inside layer.  BUT–the card is super QUICK & EASY, just like everything I make!

Card Recipe:

• Petal Pink:  8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
• Printed Vellum for front:  4″ x 5 1/4″
• Vellum for inside:  8 3/8″ x 5 1/2″

Note:  The vellum for the inside is 8 3/8″ rather than 8 1/2″.  By taking that little bit off it does not stick out when the card is folded.
