Hi. I attended a StampinUp “party” maybe 30 to 35 years ago. I bought a few supplies, intending to make frog cards to take to a frog collectors convention. I never did, but I’ve held onto most of those supplies (a few scrapbook papers, frog stamps, some ink pads, and glitters). I did throw out a pad that was clear, don’t remember what it was called, maybe versamark? I didn’t know what it was for and it seemed to be useless, didn’t understand clear stamping. Now I think I do, but not sure, maybe used for embossing? The glitters I have are not embossing powder, they are called Stampin’ Glitter, and I don’t know what to do with them, don’t know how to use them. I’ve been making a few cards just for family, but thinking about getting into it a bit more, or at least learning some things and doing something different. I do enjoy watching your videos.
I’m glad you are here and learning! Yes, there are lots of my videos that teach all sorts of tips and tricks. I’ve got a number of Youtube Playlists you might find helpful too so check those out as well.
I’ve watched quite a few of your videos, but so far I haven’t seen any about how to use the glitters. Are they still made? Maybe I can find how to use the glitters somewhere.
Thanks,
Sandra
The glitters haven’t been around for a number of years we currently sell shimmery effects which is like a glue and glitter all in one.
Thank you. I don’t want to throw them out, so I’ll try to find something online that will give me some ideas as to how to use them.
I’m sure ‘google’ will probably point you in the right direction.
